TDSAT dismisses TTSL's petition against BSNL
October 15, 2005
The Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal has dismissed Tata Teleservices Limited's (TTSL) petition against BSNL, challenging the latter's demand for increased interconnection usage charges and ADC. It has also ruled that TTSL's Walky is a mobile service and, as such, has directed it to pay ADC. TTSL has subsequently approached the Supreme Court to take a decision on the issue, which has directed a three-week stay on the matter.
